Any aftermarket modification to a vehicle can impact dealer coverage, especially for engine and drivetrain claims. Both MHD and xHP tunes are fully reversible to OEM — flash back to stock before any dealer visit and the car is indistinguishable from factory.

xHP has issued an official statement (03/26) that their TCU flash specifically does not affect transmission warranty.

100%. Both MHD and xHP keep the original factory calibration on file. Inside the app, you tap "Revert to OEM" and the car flashes back to stock in a few minutes. No backup needed before flashing — the official servers handle it.

The basic Flasher (~$200 list) only flashes maps. Super License bundles three products in one:

• Flasher — flash OTS / custom maps + flash options (burble, kickdown delete, top speed unlock, etc.)
• MHD+ — on-the-fly map switching (4 slots/stage), antilag, switchable burble, exhaust flap control, ethanol monitor, no-lift-shift
• Monitor — real-time gauges + 50+ logged parameters with free log analysis

Buying separately costs significantly more — Super combines them at one discount.

Yes — the license is software, the adapter is the hardware bridge to your car. Recommended:

• MHD WiFi Adapter — works on iOS and Android, the cleanest experience
• KDCan cable + OTG — Android-only, cheaper alternative

Adapters are sold separately by MHD. If you don't already have one, order it before your license to avoid flashing delays.

OTS maps come in multiple octane variants:

• 91 (95 RON) — entry stage, works on standard premium
• 93 (98 RON) — higher boost, requires real 93 octane
• 95 (102 RON) — race fuel only
• E30 / E85 — ethanol blends, biggest power gains, highest cooling

Always run the octane the map calls for. Running lower will trigger knock and pull timing.

Yes — most engines have an E30 ethanol blend map (mix 30% E85 with pump gas). Bigger gains require ethanol-safe fuel system upgrades. The included Ethanol Quick View in MHD+ uses a Zeitronix or compatible analyzer to monitor real-time E content.

Absolutely — that's exactly what the higher stages are tuned for. Stage 2 needs downpipes, Stage 1+ benefits from a front-mount intercooler. The Flasher has built-in flags for aftermarket parts (intake, IAT sensor relocation, etc.) so the ECU calibrates properly.

MHD+ gives you 4 map slots per stage. Switch between them without flashing — useful for valet mode, low-octane backup, race fuel weekend, etc. Done in the app or via volume button shortcuts.

On Stage 3 with Sport+ mode active, upshifts are up to 80% faster than factory. Stage 2 in everyday driving feels noticeably crisper without being harsh. Stage 1 simply removes the factory torque limiters and adds a gear display.

Yes — pairing xHP with an MHD ECU tune is the most popular combo. The TCU flash removes torque limiters in the gearbox so the engine tune actually delivers full power without protection cuts. We give an extra 5% off when you bundle MHD + xHP together.

Different gearbox firmware. F-Series 8HP covers F30/F32/F10/F15 etc. G-Series 8HP covers G20, G05, G80 M3, F90 M5, F95 X5M, F97 X3M, F98 X4M and Toyota Supra A90.

On 8HP and DCT licenses, True Manual disables the gearbox's automatic upshift at redline and the auto-downshift on slow-down. The car only shifts when you pull the paddle — exactly like a real manual. Perfect for track days and skill-building.

Yes. Valet Mode caps the engine at 2500–3000 RPM — your car physically can't make more than ~30% of its power. Locks via PIN. Great for parking attendants, kids learning to drive, or workshop visits.

BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), USDT (TRC-20 and ERC-20), USDC (ERC-20), BNB (BEP-20), and SOL (Solana). The exact list with current rates is shown at checkout.

Crypto cuts out three hidden costs: card processor fees (~3%), chargeback reserves (~2%), and reseller margin (~25%). All of that is baked into "list" prices everywhere else. We take crypto, skip those costs, and pass the savings back. Discount is automatic — no coupon code.

Buy a small amount with your bank card on a regulated on-ramp. We recommend:

Depends on network and fee:

• BTC — 1 confirmation, ~10–15 minutes typically
• ETH / ERC-20 — 1–2 minutes after broadcast
• USDT TRC-20 — under 1 minute
• BNB / SOL — under 30 seconds

You'll get the license code by email as soon as the network confirms.

Send the exact amount shown at checkout. The amount is locked when you start the order. If you under-send, contact support — we'll either complete the order against the difference or send a refund. If you overpay we'll refund the surplus to the same wallet.

Activation code sent to the email address you entered at checkout, usually within 5–15 minutes of network confirmation. Open the official MHD Flasher / xHP Flashtool app and paste the code in the License section.

Yes — both MHD and xHP licenses are VIN-locked. One license activates one vehicle. You can flash that car as many times as you want for life.

Yes — both publishers allow a one-time VIN transfer (small admin fee may apply). Flash the old car back to stock first, then contact MHD / xHP support with proof of sale and the new VIN.

Because the license is delivered instantly and tied to a VIN, refunds aren't possible after the code is activated. Before activation we will refund any unused license to the same crypto wallet within 24 hours of request.

Check spam first. If still missing after 30 minutes, message us via support with your order ID — we'll resend manually within minutes.

First flash takes ~7 minutes (MHD) or ~10 minutes (xHP). Subsequent map switches are about 60 seconds. Always plug a battery charger in during the flash — voltage drops mid-flash can brick the ECU.

Both apps include built-in recovery. If the engine doesn't start after a flash, follow the in-app recovery flow — works in 99% of cases. The MHD / xHP support teams handle the remaining edge cases for free.

The Super License + xHP combo is enough for 95% of builds. For built engines or non-standard hardware, both platforms support custom maps from approved professional tuners (Wedge, BM3, Burger, etc.). We can recommend a tuner for your setup — just ask in support.
